Home grown is rooted in Brighton allowing our creative community to bloom through our series of collaborative workshops and events run by local and independent artists, makers and shakers.
Sharing skills to inspire creativity and well being in our green and open space to strengthen our city’s creative community.
The Home Grown workshops will promote a creative energy to bring together and hold space for anyone and everyone who wants to explore various creative outlets and try their hand at something new! Sign up and watch this succulent space for exciting and inclusive events for you to experience.
From crystal wrapping to lampshade creating, calligraphy, plant potting and macrame… and all that’s in-between. We are thrilled to invite you and the community to join us to 'get your hands dirty' and to learn a new skill or a space to give yourself some mindful down time.
Plants are a way to bring the natural world into our homes, by opening our doors to these workshops we hope to promote a more mindful and sustainable lifestyle and protect our main Mumma nature by consuming less and growing more.
We want to encourage you to grow so we welcome you to Home Grown at Hi Cacti to join our lil' creative hub and take part in a new project for a new you!

A lil bit about the Creative Director and Botanical Babe behind Hi Cacti
Sabina, home grown from Austin, Texas, has shown us the true essence of bringing that little bit of home to wherever you go, and to 'bloom where you are planted' in your community. Sabina is passionate about sharing her little slice of Southern Americana sun via her handmade products, exotic houseplants, imports & gifts in her small but bright shop Hi Cacti and not to forget, Otto the little wire haired dachshund who hangs with his mama and the plants.
